In commemoration of the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day, PT Dahana organized a Culinary Bazaar for its fostered MSME partners. The event took place following the flag-raising ceremony and was a lively occasion, attended by the Board of Directors and all PT Dahana employees from both the Subang and Jakarta offices on Sunday, August 17, 2025.
PT Dahana’s President Director, Hary Irmawan, emphasized that MSMEs are the backbone of the community’s economic movement. He encouraged PT Dahana employees to take pride in using domestic products, including the culinary delights produced by the company’s fostered MSME partners.
“We are very proud to see the enthusiasm of our fostered partners in presenting quality products. The food is delicious, healthy, and made with creativity. We hope that the culinary MSMEs fostered by PT Dahana can sustainably grow, expand their reach, and become competitive in both national and international markets,” said Mr Irmawan.
Following the ceremony, the President Director, along with the Board of Directors and employees, toured the bazaar booths, engaged with the MSMEs, and expressed their appreciation and support. The presence of PT Dahana’s staff is expected to motivate the MSMEs to further develop their products and broaden their market access.
A total of 13 MSMEs, all involved in the culinary sector and supported by PT Dahana, participated in this bazaar. They offered diverse choice, featuring regional culinary specialties, traditional snacks, and contemporary food and beverages, all produced by the creative talents of the Subang community.
PT Dahana hosted this culinary bazaar free of charge as a tangible form of support for MSMEs in expanding their markets and increasing product exposure, both to employees and the public. This event also aimed to foster friendships and strengthen the company’s relationship with the surrounding community.
Additionally, PT Dahana’s Social and Environmental Responsibility Manager, Neni Sumarni, highlighted that support for MSMEs goes beyond mentoring; it also involves creating new economic opportunities that can deliver real benefits to the community.
“By organizing this culinary bazaar, PT Dahana reaffirms its commitment to the Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The company hopes that its ongoing partnership with MSMEs will yield long-term benefits, create more equitable economic access, and support sustainable community development,” Ms Sumarni concluded.
